About us

OUR Mission

We're spreading flavor and goodness.

At Freeman Fine Foods we are on a two-fold mission of spreading both flavor and goodness.  That’s why for every bottle you purchase, we make a donation to a foster care agency called Building Families for Children to help provide stable, loving homes for children who need them.  So when you open that bottle of liquid goodness, you’re also opening doors of opportunity!

At home the Freemans are on this mission personally, too.  We are involved with foster care and have been experiencing its joys since 2011, fostering more than ten kids over the years.  Our “patchwork family” is a mix of foster, adopted, and biological children.  By the way, at home the eight of us each have our favorite sauce flavors.  The daring ones show their bravado by enjoying Master's Flame.  Sweet & Tangy  sauce is a staple for the little ones, and we have some die hard Bold & Zesty fans!  Mango Ginger tends to be enjoyed most by mom and dad.

Building Families for Children
OUR Story

Every child deserves hope.

There was once a boy who was trying to impress a girl by showing her the sauce he knew how to make.  Was she impressed?  Yes...until she saw that he dumped four store-bought bottles together in a saucepan and called it "his" sauce.  One day for his birthday, she got him a dozen bottles and told him, "It's time to make a sauce that's truly your own."  It's true what they say:  Behind every great man is a great woman who makes sure his sauces are original.  From there, the boy and girl together decided to branch out with a few tasty flavors for others to enjoy.

The inspiration for Freeman Fine Foods began more than 19 years ago with a meandering search for the best sauce for hot wings.  Kevin (aka “Master Freeman”) was inspired by his uncle on numerous trips to Pennsylvania – all of which involved grilled chicken and hot sauce.  The quest for the perfect hot sauce soon turned to a search for the best flavor.  Countless bottles of assorted sauces were mixed together in a quest for the perfect blend.  After untold hours of kitchen concoctions and almost as many grocery store trips, the end result was something much more versatile:  A sauce that tasted great on just about anything combined with another key ingredient: the desire to use it as a force for good.

While we love to brag about our sauces, we would rather let them speak for themselves and instead tell you about the good they do.  A portion of proceeds from every bottle sold goes to help children in foster care.  We believe every child deserves hope and a chance at success.  Whenever you pour out our sauce, you’re also pouring out opportunities for them!
